Background: Soostone uses big-data analytics and predictive modeling into advanced software platforms to help clients boost their key financial metrics on the e-commerce and marketing channels.
Soostone went through a major redesign in 2021. I was brought in later as the UI designer for the finishing touches of a few of Soostone’s pages - Widengle and the Solutions pages - Following the redesign criteria of Soostone’s interface. I was also tasked with filling out the design system for Soostone. Follow my journey below..
As touched on above, the challenge was to “make final touches” to the redesign. I made sure that the user experience was worthy of the current climate of the design.
To achieve this, I focused my time on every detail of Soostone’s redesign, from the layout to the color scheme.
After discovering the clients needs, I made multiple iterations, and testing the layout visually making sure it matched the rest of the product.
Widengle: went through a complete redesign. The client emphasized the importance of information, rather than imagery. The layout was made into digestible sections.
The result was a cleaner, informative design. An interface that users can seamlessly scroll through.
Adaptive Solutions: The Solutions Pages went through minor changes. The layout felt too cluttered. The buttons didn’t match the design system CTA’s. The result was a simplified hero section, color scheme change, and different organization of information.
